(More customer reviews)I purchased this globe as a present & ended up having to exchange it several times because each globe had scratches on it's wooden base! But with every exchange, the scratches were only worse with each new globe. Finally just gave up & kept it.... Other than the scratches, it was a lovely globe & the recipient was thrilled (except he hated the scrstches obviously).
