The enthusiasm of Ms. Frommer's guide is a delight- and reminiscent of that of her parents' early guides. She had tips - to eat at Weird Fish, for instance; to have ice cream at Bi-Rite - that proved so right. She doesn't over-complicate things. Previously, in Europe, I had relied only on Rick Steves books. Now that there are Pauline Frommer guides, I will buy those, too.
