It's soft enough, not too heavy that it doesn't dry itself quickly, and doesn't hold on to sand terribly either. After a first washing, it didn't lint on him or anything! He loves showing his team spirit at the beach, or just using it at home after a shower. The colors are beautiful and vibrant, and I'm sure will remain that way for a good long while!
