They are sturdy and , as far as I can tell, the etching on the side of the glasses should last for more than a few uses. I bought them for the idea of them satisfying my friend who loves the team and margaritas equally. The down size, no pun intended, is that they are way smaller than I suspected them to be. The biggest downfall was that they are sold as a set to give you the idea that you are somehow getting a deal (I do psychological research, and I understand this game of deception) when in fact you are being charged almost twenty dollars EACH!! Yes, you heard me correctly, TWENTY DOLLARS EACH!! To end on a positive note, They were packaged with great skill and care and were shipped to me immediately. My friend who received these glasses as a birthday gift in the middle of the summer was very pleased.
