(More customer reviews)I bought this to use as an ice bucket and while it works well for that it is a little on the large size. It does however seem to be just the right size for a chip bowl.
It is a basic galvanized pail (nothing fancy) but the paint is well adhered and appears to be durable if treated gently. This is not an item I would put in the dishwasher but rather hand wash or preferably just wipe the inside clean with a damp rag and then wipe dry.
