Any one interested in Chinese history and culture, particularily in terms of their wonderful ceramics, would find this book especially interesting as not only does it provide useful information in the written form , both English and Chinese, but also beautiful colour plates, covering bowls, vases and teapots together with early model figurines. As this book accompanies the Chinese Culture Exhibition held in San Francisco in 1994, it must figure that this is only a small selection of what is available to view elsewhere, particularily in China itself. Despite this book being only 110 pages it provides a wonderful "window" into Chinese artifacts and information. With this in mind I highly recommend it to any person able to obtain a copy.
