Jerry Emory's research on this book is fantastic. More anthropology than touristy. It's a delight to come across the variety in San Francisco Bay Coastline which this book conveys by intermingling geography, topography and history. It won't list the closest Denny's but it will tell you the indigenous inhabitants...capish?
