As shown in the photo the patch comes in cello wrapped packaging on a blue card. Getting the patch off of the card is the first challenge. They use a tape/glue that would make SuperGlue seem like museum wax. Then comes the hard part. There is a piece of hard plastic on the back of the patch that makes the previously mentioned glue seem like Silly Putty. Apparently MLB doesn't want anyone actually using this as a patch so you will be forced to buy "official MLB" clothing with the patches already attached. I had planned on buying more "official" MLB patches to customize a jacket, but now I think I'll be on the lookout for good counterfeits. Trying to use this as a "patch" is a major PITA, if not impossible. So far I've gotten about 1/20th of the hard plastic off in about 5 minutes. Hopefully it is doable without damaging the patch at all. Patch itself is nice and good quality, but beware if you actually plan to use it as a patch.
